Carls Jr.'s Big Breakfast Burger

Score - 7/10 This sandwich has potential to be amazing. Sizzling ground beef, fluffy and moist scrambled egg, crispy and juicy bacon, crunchy and salty tater-tots, and a rich slice of cheese all have the ability to make for a crunchy and savory breakfast meal that's convenient and filling. THIS sandwich does not do that. Don't get me wrong, it's tasty. I mean, minus the adjectives, the sandwich HAS all the components. But truth be told, none of them shine. It's like a great idea that is executed adequately. The sandwich is indeed filling, but unless I douse it with sauces like Ketchup or Mayo, it's a fairly dry sandwich. The ingredients are par to sub-par. I'm thinking they don't even scramble the eggs, nor fry the bacon. I'm under the impression those items are made already and are either reheated or tossed in some quick cooker. It's good enough for a breakfast on the go, so it satisfies its fast food requirements. I'm just saying if you're touting this sandwich, you have the exclusive ability to make it magnificent. I guarantee you, if I took Fudrucker buns, and some fresh seasoned ground beef grilled to juicy perfection, fried up some eggs and bacon, and tossed a slice of american cheese on the sizzling meat, and placed Carls Jr. Tater tots on top, I bet the true potential of the sandwich would shine and be a truly mouth watering breakfast. C'mon Carls. Let's not slack! WARNING - IMAGE IS NOT EXACTLY IDENTICAL TO WHAT BURGER ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE. SRSLY.
